Jeera Rice ( Jeera Pulao)
Ingredients

Serve 3-4 pax

Ready in 30 mins

2 Cups Basmati Rice

2 tbsp Olive Oil or Ghee

1 tbsp Cumin Seed

2 Cardamon

2 tsp Mustard Seed

1 Cinnamon Stick

1 Bay Leaf

1 tbsp Salt

 

Garnish

Coriander Leave

Step 1

Soak Basmati Rice 30mins – 2hrs

 

Step 2

Drain the basmati rice and set aside.

 

Step 3

Heat olive oil in a pot. Sauteed bay leaf & cumin seed till golden brown then follow by Cardamon & cinnamon stick.

 

Step 4

Add soaked basmati rice to stir and sauteed awhile.

 

Step 5

Add salt & water, cover & cook in medium flame. Approx 20 mins.

 

Step 6

Garnish Jeera rice with some coriander leave and ready to serve.
