Potato Roses

Group1

750g Washed Mini Potato

12 Slices Bacon

 

Group 2

2 tbsp Italian Herbs

1 1/2 tbsp Garlic Power

1 1/2 tbsp Onion Powder

2 tsp Salt

2 tsp Pepper

2 tbsp Butter (Melted)

Sauces

Step1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Generously grease a 24 Small cup muffin tin with melted butter, reserving the rest for the potatoes.

 

Step2

Use a mandolin slicer or vegetable peeler to slice the potatoes.

 

Step3

Put the slices into a bowl and add (Group2) the melted butter, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Mix well.

 

Step4

Place 1 piece of bacon on a work surface. Arrange potato slices along one edge so they are slightly overlapping. Sprinkle evenly with parmesan cheese. Carefully roll up the bacon and potatoes to form a rose, then put it in the cup of a muffin pan. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Gently fan out the potato slice petals.

Bake for 45 minutes, until the edges are crispy and the potatoes are cooked-through.
